Sight Testing Services in Terrace
Come into Benson Optical for a sight test conducted by our registered refracting optician, trained to conduct automated vision testing. Sight testing is an automated refraction system which is a quick, safe and accurate way for individuals to check their vision before purchasing a new pair of glasses. While the automated technology is very accurate at measuring an individual's visual clarity and determining the power of corrective lenses, it is not intended to replace an eye health exam. Refracting opticians are not trained or licensed to conduct eye exams to determine eye health.
We utilize the EYELOGIC sight testing system. This is a combination of a Hoya digital phoropter, Canon automatic refractor, Tomey lensmeter and Sagence Technologies software. With over 20 years of experience in Sight Testing you can be confident in obtaining accurate results from our registered refracting optician, Andy Dyck R.R.O.
If you’re between 19 and 65 years old and have normal healthy eyes, this test is available via Appointment or by walk-in when available. Billing on your behalf for sight testing is available in most cases.
